Cold Brew Coffee Guide

Cold brew is a slow extraction coffee method that produces a smooth, refreshing, and naturally sweet cup with lower acidity. Brewed using cold or room temperature water over an extended steeping time, cold brew highlights chocolate, caramel, and mellow flavor characteristics with a clean finish.

What need to prepare

Coffee: 60g
Water: 600g
Grind Size: Coarse
Water Temperature: Room Temperature or Cold Water
Brew Time: 12–16 Hours

Step 1 — Prepare Coarsely Ground Coffee

Use freshly roasted coffee beans with a coarse grind size to support slow and even extraction during steeping.

Step 2 — Add Coffee Into The Brewing Container

Place 60g of ground coffee into a clean jar, bottle, or cold brew brewer.

Step 3 — Pour Water Evenly Over The Coffee

Slowly add 600g of room temperature or cold water to fully saturate all coffee grounds evenly.

Step 4 — Stir The Coffee Gently

Stir gently for a few seconds to help the coffee grounds interact evenly with the water.

Step 5 — Steep The Cold Brew Coffee

Cover the container and allow the coffee to steep for approximately 12–16 hours in the refrigerator or at room temperature.

Step 6 — Filter The Cold Brew

Strain the coffee using a paper filter, cloth filter, or fine mesh filter to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee.

Step 7 — Serve And Enjoy Cold Brew Coffee

Serve the cold brew over ice or dilute with water or milk depending on your preferred strength and flavor balance.
